Welcome to Southsea Class one of our Key Stage 4 classes here at Redwood Park Academy.

Academic Year 2025/2026

Southsea class have had a great start to the year with lots of learning opportunities and outdoor learning. They were fortunate to attend the MTCP careers day and learn about different career routes that are available in the travel industry. They really enjoyed getting all the freebies whilst there! Southsea Class have also taken on the responsibility of picking up the weekly bread donation from Greggs for Redwood Park’s breakfast club. This was a great opportunity to practice some real-life skills out in the community, like posting letters, buying items and communicating with members of the public. Southsea class have also enjoyed studying story plots, creating their own stories and learning about the sequence of events in a story. They even got to watch a few films to get ideas of how the sequencing works to support their own story writing. Southsea class have really worked hard this Autumn term, attending their options lessons, learning new skills in PE and becoming more independent in both maths and English.

All of Southsea class are enjoying celebrating the end of the year, looking forward to Christmas plays, Christmas Market and activities. We cannot wait to see what 2026 brings!
