Winchester Science Centre STEMunity trip

A group of year 10 pupils visited the science centre to explore a range of experiments based on engineering principles. First, the pupils walked around the centre interacting with different hands-on experiments. Our favourite exhibition was a giant guitar that we could stand in whilst other people plucked the strings, the vibrations travelled through our body! Next, we took our seats in the planetarium and journied through the universe visiting distant planets. Finally, we meet in the science room and took part in a STEM build exploring how to use different types of materials. A great day was had by all!
