Key stage 3 have been exploring all things big, wild, hairy and scary this week with their stunning starts launching the topics on Monday. Year 7 designed and produced their own monsters from a range of creative resources. The students produced a collection of monsters with interesting characteristics and features from tentacle arms to multiple eyes like a spider. These monsters escaped the classrooms and hid around the school ready for year 7 to track them down and hunt them.
Year 8 and 9 had visitors to their classrooms who left a trail of destruction along with slime. The students worked hard using their best detective skills to analyse the crime scene, use police profiles and work out which monster had visited their room. They had fun exploring the mysteries and learning about monsters from around the world such as the Loch Ness monster and Slimer.
