Moor Farm

On Thursday, Museum and Mountbatten class visited Moor Farm, supported by the Countryside Trust. Pupils learned about the workings of a dairy farm and sustainable farming. The pupils absolutely loved the day! They got to meet the herd, see how milk is taken from a cow and the journey of products made from milk. The children were particularly excited about touching the calves. At the end of the day they’d made such good friends with a calf that it escaped and tried to come back to Redwood with us!
