Redwood ParkGuildhall class are taking part in Bushcraft skills as part of the Duke of Edinburgh award.
The pupils started by looking at how to make small fires safely using the school equipment. From this, pupils made their own small fires and learnt how to be safe in preparation for toasting marshmallows.
The pupils then spent some time tidying up the fire pit in the wild area in time for this week’s session where a larger fire will be made and marshmallows will be toasted.
