Class Teacher: Laura Meredith

Welcome to Dockyard Class one of our Key Stage 4 classes here at Redwood Park Academy.

Academic Year 2025/2026

We are a group of 8 boys and 1 girl in year 11. We live in room 3 in Willow block. We have had the same teacher since year 10 and enjoy our own space.

We enjoy playing silly games together including Taco, cat, goat, cheese, pizza and Uno. We often have very competitive games including the whole class and staff!

The main thing we like to do is socialise, ith eachother, the class team, all staff and other pupils. We like to talk about different things from things we have seen on the news to new computer games being released. We all have our own opinions and like to make sure we have a chance to speak.

We enjoy school, most of the time, and settle well into our classes. We enjoy our options classes and especially going off site.

We are looking forward to (and are a little worried about) our next steps and going to college. We have been to visit some of them and some have had interviews. Although this is a huge step we are trying to keep focussed and work out the best route for college.
